Mary Wojcicki Yanko, age 87, of Fairview, died on Friday, April 4, 2014, at home. She was born on November 27, 1926 in Erie, a daughter of the late Anthony and Helen Wojcicki.

Mary graduated from St. Hedwig grade school and East High School. She was a member of St. Hedwig Church for many years. Mary loved her dogs and taking care of her yard and gardens. The family would like to thank the neighbors who helped to watch over her the many years she lived by herself.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, George Yanko; and her five siblings, Jean Hein, Helen Davis, Walter, Stanley and Casmir Wojcicki.

She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Roberta (Richard) Lewis, Barbara (Robert) Davis, Stanley Donikowski, Carol (Robert) Ferraro, and Gregory Davis.

A graveside service will be held at the Gate Of Heaven Cemetery on Wednesday, April 9 at 12 Noon.
