Reuben Roberson Jr. "Sonnie" aka "Poppi," 58, went home to be with his Savior on Tuesday, April 15th. He was born January 2, 1956, in Pittsburgh, Pa., the youngest child of the late Reuben Roberson Sr. and Minnie Anderson Roberson.
Reuben was a resident of Erie since 1996, where he was a member of Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church. He was employed as a truck driver. Reuben loved sports, his favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he was a big hearted person who loved his children.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Deborah (Knight) Roberson; three daughters, Keyna Robbins, Krystal Portorreal and TeCrette Knight; three sons, Rueben Kevin Roberson, Jason Rieder, and Walter Knight; two sisters, Ruby Jean Roberson and Mary Ann Hamitlon; and three brothers, George Roberson, Robert Roberson, and Paul Glover.
Friends may visit the family Sunday, April 20th, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church, 2624 German St., and a funeral service there Monday, April 21st at 11 a.m., with Bishop Jesse N.
