With great sadness, the family of Michael Venuto bids farewell to their rock and anchor. Michael, age 55, passed into the hands of the Lord Wednesday, April 23rd, 2014.
Mike was the proud owner and operator of Ryan Moving & Storage of Erie, Allied Van Lines. He was unarguably the nicest and kindest man anyone would want to know. He was a devoted husband, loving father and accomplished business man. Born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, Michael was a huge fan of his Pittsburgh sports teams, Penguins, Pirates and Steelers.
He had a passion for, and extensive knowledge of classic automobiles, especially Ford Mustangs. Mike was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting, fishing and golf. He was a great supporter of Erie Soap Box Derby Racing and inspired his children to several championships. He was a member of VFW
Post 470, and is remembered fondly by his numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Micahael Venuto and a sister Lori Orange.
He is survived by his mother, Ruth Cochenour Stevens and stepfather James, his wife, Kathy Henninger Venuto, son, Michael David Venuto (Las Vegas), daughter Elizabeth Venuto, son Ross Venuto, Angel "the cat," and an extended family of in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Now abiding in the hand of God, he will be most sorely missed.
