Patricia L. Parker Bandy, 89, a resident of Pleasant Ridge Manor West, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Spokane, Wash. on February 8, 1925, a daughter of the late Ace and Helena Reagan Parker.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of the White Shrine for many years. She was an avid roller skater and bowler, and enjoyed bowling and billiards.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, William Bandy.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Molly and her husband Theodore of Erie and Kathleen Jilek of Kenosha, Wis.; one son, Michael Bandy and his wife Barbara of Tacoma, Wash.; two sisters, Virginia Odgers and her husband Murray of Hayden, Idaho and Nancy Forbes and her husband Raymond of Reno, Nev.; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. A Panachida service will take place that evening at 7:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:30 a.m., and burial will follow in St. Nicholas Orthodox Cemetery.
