Marilyn A. (Hain) Osiecki, age 79, of Erie, passed away at Manchester Commons, Monday, April 28, 2014, surrounded by her daughters. Born in Erie, May 16, 1934, she was a daughter of Edwin and Elizabeth (Mangold) Hain.

Marilyn will be remembered for her love of life, laughter and special devotion to family and friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and each one of them held a special place in her heart. Marilyn worked as a sales associate of John V. Schultz Furniture. She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Church, an auxiliary member of the Erie Maennerchor Club and a member of Lakeview Country Club, where she enjoyed playing golf. Marilyn also enjoyed bowling, card club and dominoes with her friends and grandchildren. She was an avid reader, and she enjoyed her nightly viewing of Jeopardy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Jerry Osiecki and her brother, Gerald Hain.

Marilyn is survived by her four daughters, Mary Elizabeth Pappas, husband James, of Johnstown, Pa., Lorri Stefanelli, husband Vinny, of Erie, Pa., Gail Beck, husband Kent, of Cranberry Township, Pa., and Cheryl Palmer, husband Jack, of Williamsburg, Va.; brother, Donald Hain wife Carol of Sumerville, S.C., sister, Virginia (Ginny) Down, husband Greg of Waterford, Pa.; ten grandchildren, Katrina, Elaina, and Nicholas Pappas; Gabriella and Isabella Stefanelli; Nick, Luke and Madeline Beck; Alivia and Jaelyn Palmer.

The family would like to thank all of Marilyn's caregivers for their kindness and support.

Friends are invited to call at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 W. 38th St., at Greengarden Blvd., Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and to attend prayers there Friday at 11:15 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Jude the Apostle Church, at 12 o'clock noon. Interment will be private.
