Corissa Anne Rivera McCulloch, 36, of Houston, Minn., and formerly of Evans City, Pa., passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 9, 2014 at Gunderson Lutheran Hospital, in La Crosse, Wis. She was born in Erie on June 7, 1977, a daughter of Israel and Mary Ann Dabrowski Rivera.

Corissa attended LaRoche College and was self employed for several years. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Houston, Minn. She enjoyed watching the Food Network, cooking, and reading, especially Stephen King. Her children were her life and she enjoyed helping them with their Boy and Girl Scouts, and being involved in their schooling.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Emma Cecelia Diaz and Zdzislaw Dabrowski.

In addition to her parents survivors include her husband Robert Charles Christopher McCulloch; her daughter, Carson McCulloch and her twins, Alexander and Emma McCulloch, all at home; her sister, Christen Ditmar and her husband Edward of Lake City, Minn.; her brother, Paul Rivera and his wife Zara of Los Angeles; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., and are invited to a prayer service there on Saturday morning at 9:45 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family, in care of the funeral home.
