Margaret E. Hesling, age 85, of North East, died on Friday, May 30, 2014, at WCA Hospital, in Jamestown, N.Y.

She was born on June 24, 1928, to the late Herbert and Ruth Kendrick Hesling.

Margaret graduated from North East High School and attended P.C.W. College for Women, in Pittsburgh.

She retired from Al Ferraro Auto dealership in Girard, as a bookkeeper, and was formerly employed at the National Bank in North East, and Lake Shore Lumber.

Margaret was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Shiloh Chapter 153, in North East.

She enjoyed playing golf, traveling to Serria Vista each winter with her companion Stewart Garnow, and spending time at Chautauqua Lake, in the summer.

Margaret is survived by her lifelong companion, Stewart Garnow of North East; cousins, Susan Smith of Orlando, Fla., David Ross of Pittsburgh, and Robert Webb of Hungry Horse, Montana.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 S. Lake St., North East. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Private burial will be at North East Cemetery.
