Billy Daniel McCloud, "Dollar Bill," age 53, of Erie, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at UPMC Hamot, following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Erie on March 2, 1961, a son of the late Johnny McCloud and Rev. Johnnie Jenkins McCloud.
Billy attended Technical Memorial High School.
He was a mechanic and worked at several shops over the years.
Billy loved fishing, BBQ, playing cards, dominoes, and being with his family was most important.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Cheryl McCloud and Veatrice Louise Morganfield; and a brother, Johnny McCloud.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Mosco McCloud; daughters: Loretta, Janel-May and Amber; and sons: Mark (Maria) Chris, Antonio (Crystal) William, Nicholas, Daniel, Josh, Jacob, Jonathan, and Chris, Jr.; 23 grandchildren also survive. Survivors also include his brothers: Howard, Andre, (Kristy), Dwayne, (Barbie), and Ed; his sisters: Donna, (Tony), Trina, Lisa, (Greg), Adrianne, Lolita, (Marocco); also survived by aunts, Ruthie and Clara; uncles, Joe, Rob, Donnie, and Stephon. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Friends may call at Second Baptist Church, 757 East 26th St., on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m., and are invited to services there on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Daryl Hobson officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
