Dolores Jane Joslyn, age 82, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. She was born in Erie to the late John and Catherine (Shutski) Rozanski, on March 20, 1932.

Dolores attended Strong Vincent High School, and was one of the many silent heroes of the military, in her loyal devotion to her husband of 21 years of service to his country. She retired from Jack Eckerd Co. and CVS, where she was a dedicated employee. She liked gardening, reading, was an avid bingo player, loved going to the flea markets, and birdwatching.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Resen and Chuck Rozanski; and a sister, Florence Meisner.

She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Gay; husband, Rick, of Crawfordville, Fla.; two sons, Ken Joslyn, wife, Sandy, of Baton Rouge, La.; and Steve Joslyn, wife, Frances, of Masontown, Pa. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, Benjamin, Paula, Micah, Gabriel, Aaron, Matthew, Anna and Samuel Joslyn, Jason, Mandi and Tiffany Bordwell and Dan Joslyn; and one great-granddaughter, Lindsey Joslyn.

Arrangements are being handled by the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard, Erie, PA 16508. Services and burial were private by the convenience of the family.
