Marilyn L. Thomas, age 62, of Erie, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014. She was born in Erie on July 4, 1951, daughter of the late James and Thelma Spencer.
Marilyn attended Taccoa Falls Bible College, following graduation from Academy High School.
She was an active member of First Alliance Church and a Sunday school teacher for over 40 years. One of her greatest loves was, she loved babysitting.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 42 years, James A. Thomas; one daughter, Becky Evans (David); one son, Donald Thomas; three sisters, Kathy Schreckengost, Linda Miller (David), Carol Grosz (Thomas); one brother, James Spencer (Carolee); three grandchildren, Kelly, Kerry and Matthew Evans; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Daniel Thomas.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Further visitation will be held at the First Alliance Church, 2939 Zimmerly Rd., on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Erie Cemetery.
