Obituary Condolences

George E. Cirino, age 75, of Erie, passed away at the Pennsylvania Soldiers and Sailors Home on Thursday, June 19, 2014, following an extended illness. He was born in Erie on February 2, 1939, a son of the late George S. and Lucille M. Walter Cirino.

George proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from GE where he worked as an expeditor. George loved his family and enjoyed traveling and camping with them. He also enjoyed a good game of Pinochle.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Cirino.

He is survived by four sisters, Corrine (Clarence) Cristler of Big Bear Lake, Calif., Gail (Timothy) Partsch of Millcreek, Lucille Crossman and Sheryll Jenkins, both of Erie. George is further survived by his nieces and nephews, Tami Scott, Traci (Steve) Kozkowski, Shannon Panella, and Corey Crossman.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd., Erie, PA 16504 on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service there at 1:00 p.m. Interment with full military honors will follow in Erie Cemetery.
