Genevieve "Genny" Hartley Kline, age 84, of Lawrence Park, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Brevillier Village. She was born in Elmira, N.Y., on August 28, 1929, daughter of the late Arthur and Calista Bisbee Hartley.

Genny was an Operation Service Manager with GTE, retiring in 1984, following 31 years of service. She previously volunteered with the Erie County Diabetes Association, the Women's Care Center, the Pro-Life Coalition, and worked the election polls in Lawrence Park. Genny enjoyed gardening and the family cottage at Findley Lake. She was active in several churches in the area, prior to her illness.

Genny is survived by a son, Jeffrey Kline (significant other, Joyce Gerry) of Millcreek; a daughter, Cheryl Greiner (Gregory) of Lawrence Park; two sisters, Lois Kelly of Erie and Mary Goettmann (James) of North East; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two on the way, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., and are invited to attend a funeral service there on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Grahamville Cemetery.
