Christopher Joseph Pellican

Obituary Condolences

In memory of Christopher Joseph Pellican, of Zephyrhills, Fla., who passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014. He was born October 12, 1932, in North East, Pa., to Cosimo Anthony and Mary Mammana Pellican.

Christopher graduated from Academy High School in 1951, and was a Korean War Veteran. He resided in Erie, Pa. until 1973, when he relocated to Florida, with his family.

He is survived by his brothers, Anthony V. and Cosimo J. (Maxine) Pellican; his son, John Pellican; his daughter Sharon (James) Nealy; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Melissa, and James Nealy; and his loving companion, Mona Hoyt.

Christopher was a kind and loving man, with a great appreciation for the simple gifts in life: family, friends, beautiful days, and kind gestures. He was a proud American, who was always grateful for the sacrifices of the men and women who served, and continue to serve, in the Armed Forces.

Friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held at St. Gregory Cemetery, in North East, Pa., on Monday, July 14th at 11:00 a.m.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 S. Lake St., North East.
