James E. "Jim" Wolfe, age 68, of Greene Township, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014, at his residence, following a brief illness. He was born in Erie on February 8, 1946, the son of the late James and Dorothy Crissman Wolfe.
Jim was employed with, and a member, of the Sprinkler Fitters Union 669 for over 40 years. He was a U.S. Army
Veteran, during the Vietnam Conflict. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and softball. He especially enjoyed his time with family.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Judy Rumbaugh Wolfe; two sons, James Edward Wolfe (fiancée, Brandy), Jeffrey Andrew Wolfe (Frankie); one sister, Maryann Fairchild (Richard); and six grandchildren, Brody, Maddison, Jacob, Brandon, Breanna and Jimmy. Many cousins also survive.
Friends may call the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Thursday at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Shane Thompson. Military honors will follow, rendered by the American Legion Carl Neff Post 571.
