Ellen L. Bator, age 51, of Harborcreek, passed away at her residence, Tuesday, July 29, 2014, lovingly surrounded by her family, following an extended illness. She was born in Bradford, Pa., on October 30, 1962, daughter of the late William and Zeita Lindstrom.

Ellen was a graduate of Bradford Area High School and the University of Pittsburgh. She was employed with the Bradford School District, as a kindergarten aide. She and her family then moved to Erie, where she worked for the Harbor Creek School District and the Eastside YMCA. Ellen enjoyed being a gymnastics coach with the Lakewood Gym Dawgs and the Harbor Creek Volleyball score keeper.

Ellen is survived by her husband, Keith Bator; one son, Brian Bator; one daughter, Haley Bator; three sisters, Patricia Lindstrom, Carol Johnson, Barbara Lindstrom; two brothers, Peter Lindstrom (Marcia), Steven Lindstrom (Laurie); one niece, Beth Johnson; and one nephew, David Johnson.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Road, Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., with the Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. James R.C. Church, 2635 Buffalo Rd.
