Kelly J. Tingley, age 49, of Erie, Pa., passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Golden Living Western Reserve Living Center. She was born on September 1, 1964, in Erie, a daughter of Henry Chapman and the late Connie Chapman Rogala.
She graduated from Tech Memorial, class of 1982. She worked in various retail capacities for Pizza Hut, K-Mart, and Mighty Fine Donuts. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. She enjoyed crafts, art, and knitting. She was very active in PTA. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.
Kelly was preceded in death by her mother.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Brian; five children: Breanne (Jeremiah) Salhoff, Andrew (Crystal Willey) Tingley, Jennifer Lyons, Adam Tingley, and Katie-Eliza Tingley, all of Erie; and six grandchildren, Kiara, Konnie, Koden, Layla, Kamron, and Ava. She is further survived by her sister Kimberly (Joey) Shoop, and her brother Todd (Bekki Jackson) Chapman.
Friends are invited to call on the family today, Saturday, August 2, from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m., with Rev. Robin Swope presiding, at the Burton Wintergreen Funeral Home, 2532 Norcross Rd., Erie, PA 16510.
