Georgeanne Frawley, age 90, of Springboro, surrounded by her loving family, at her home, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 31, 2014, due to natural causes. She was born February 28, 1924, in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of the late Noble and Margaret (Fritz) Curry.
Georgeanne graduated from North Olmstead High School in 1942, and then attended Miami of Ohio. She waited for her beloved sweetheart, Calvin Frawley, to return from the South Pacific Theatre, during WWII. Upon his return, they were married on September 7, 1946, and spent the next 68 years together. Calvin passed away just 31 short days ago, June 30, 2014, and now the two of them have been reunited forever in Heaven. Georgeanne attended the Albion Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed herb and flower gardening, reading, art, and genealogy.
The Lord led her son Darren to find the following written thoughts on her last day. These are Georgeanne's exact words: "I, Georgeanne, love the Lord, my treasure most of all; my children, one by one and all together; and my husband, only one; My loving parents, grand and great-grandchildren, so many; I loved music – gospel, classic and even jazz, some; Reading was also my passion; and art, my diversion is the beautiful outdoors, the flowers that God had privileged me to see; And all the rest of a large family, before and after me; And friends my dear Lord has passed my way; My dear sister and brother, I thank them with all my heart for all of this."
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Frawley, and a brother, Daniel Curry.
Georgeanne will be missed by her seven children, Peter Frawley and his wife, Therese, Patrick Frawley and his wife, Susan, Darren Frawley and his wife, Jane, all of Springboro, Sydney Hess of Sandusky, Ohio, Colleen Miller and her husband, Larry, of Springboro, Janet Smock and her husband, Calvin, of Fredonia, Pa., Lisa Sundback and her husband, John, of Springboro, a sister, Mary Shirley of North Carolina, 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
