Walter R. "Rick" Cashdollar, age 65, of Albion, passed away at his residence on Saturday, August 2, 2014. Walter was born on February 12, 1949 in Pittsburgh, Pa., a son of Beth (Slaney) Cashdollar and the late Walter Cashdollar.

He graduated form Girard's Rice Avenue Union High School in 1968. He was a member of the A.F. Dobler Hose and Ladder Co., where he served as Luitenant, Captain, Assistant Chief, Chief, and Safety Officer.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death in 2012, by his beloved wife, Constance L. "Connie" Cashdollar, whom he married on October 3, 1989 in Willing, N.Y.

He is survived by his mother, Beth Cashdollar, of Fairview; daughter, Jennifer Rohrer, of Duncannon, Pa.; son, Christopher Cashdollar and his wife Miranda, of Girard; stepson, Jonathan Weber and his significant other Bobby, of Springboro, Pa.; his sister, Karen Tagg, of Hampton, Va.; and his brother, Kevin Cashdollar and his wife Sue Ann, of Fairview; two grandchildren, Callie and Bryant Rohrer; his step- grandchildren, and several nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Edder Funeral Home, Inc. Girard. Funeral services and Fireman's Last call will be on Wednesday at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Spring Cemetery in Springboro.
