Chanell Branson, age 49, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at her residence. She was born June 6, 1965, to the late Benjamin Franklin Branson and Bernice Pulliam.
She was a lifelong resident of Erie, where she graduated from Academy High School. Chanell was an outgoing person with a great sense of humor. She loved watching football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers, she enjoyed bowling, volleyball, watching game shows, and working on crossword puzzles.
She leaves to cherish her memory three brothers, Marshall (Maria) Pulliam of Texas, Gregory Pulliam of Idaho, and Michael (Carla) Barnes of Erie; three sisters, Yvette (Ron), Felecia (Charles Bass), and Celeste Branson, all of Erie; two half-sisters, Trina and Danielle Hall, both of Erie; a stepmother, Cynthia Hall; a step-grandmother, Mary Hall; a special friend, Carlos Ferguson of Erie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, August 15, 2014, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at Law Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Ave., and a service will follow with Rev. Willie Sanders Jr., eulogizing. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery. Funeralization is by Law Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Ave.
