Catherine M. Kelley Quick Obituary

Catherine M. Kelley Quick, 71, of Erie, died Friday, August 1, 2014, at Golden Living Center Western Reserve.

She was born November 21, 1942, in Corry, a daughter of the late Russell J. Kelley and Edna Kelley Craker, and stepdaughter of the late Bill Craker.

She worked as a supervisor for The Erie County Board of Assistance.

She was a volunteer at The Sister Mary Pascal Gray, SSJ Food Pantry, The Erie County Crop Walk, and Shriners in LaFeria, Texas.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed camping, Presque Isle State Park, and scrap-booking

She was preceded in death by her brother, Loren Craker.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Quick of Erie; one son, Edward W. Quick (Jennifer) of Columbus, Ohio; two sisters, Donna Nelson (Kurt) of Bear Creek, Pa. and Melody Salem (Chris) of Buffalo, N.Y., and a sister-in-law, Nancy Craker of Spring Creek, Pa. She is also survived by her dear friend, Randall S. Buszek of Erie; four grandchildren, Alicia Quick, Jonathan Blanchard, and Aemon and Lillian Quick; one great-grandson, Ryker; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday at Saint Patrick Church, 130 East 4th Street, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the , 2115 West 38th St., Erie, PA 16508, or to The Sister Mary Pascal Gray, SSJ Food Pantry, 130 East 4th St., Erie, PA 16507. The John R. Orlando Funeral Home, Inc., 2122 Raspberry Street, is handling arrangements.
