David H. LaFontaine David H. LaFontaine, 50, of Ft. Atkinson, Wis., formerly of Erie, Pa. passed away Friday, October 10, 2008 at his home. David was born October 25, 1957 to Howard LaFontaine and Betty (Emling) Weber in Erie, Pa. He married Shirley Fowler on July 17, 1992 in Erie. David loved animals, especially his great danes Dixie, Lulu and Buster. He also enjoyed renovating homes, yachting with family and friends, working in his garden and listening to Blues music. He is survived by his wife Shirley; sons Derek LaFontaine of Las Vegas, Jerrod LaFontaine of Erie; daughter Erica LaFontaine and fiancé Alberto Valentin of Little Falls, N.J.; granddaughter Sophia; mother Betty Weber of Erie, Pa.; sisters Karen (Don) Ochs, Debbie (Steve) Rzodkiewicz, Janet (George) Guthrie and Dede Brown; step-siblings Rich (Sue) Weber, Jack (Carol) Weber, Chris (John) Greulich, Don (Ann) Weber and Barb Weber; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard, his step-father, Jack Weber and his brother-in-law, Jim Brown. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 8, 2008 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 421 East 38th St. with Msgr. L. Thomas Snyderwine officiating. Following the service, friends are also invited to share their memories with the family from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m.at the Zukor Club, 908 West 38th St. A previous service was held in Ft.
