Daniel David Schrenk Daniel David Schrenk, age 51, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 26, 2009, at Cleveland Metro General Hospital. He was born in Erie on May 21, 1958, a son of Thomas Schrenk of Erie and the late Elizabeth (Hassett) Schrenk, who passed away in 1995. Dan was a graduate of Kanty Prep, and he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He had been employed as an installer with Shillings Carpets and then as a clerk with Ames and Tops, and most recently with K-Mart. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, hunting and watching the Cleveland Browns. He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to his father, he is survived by two sisters, Mary Beth Schrenk of Erie and Debora Kuhns of Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, Thomas Schrenk of Harrisburg and David Schrenk, wife Amy of Erie; and seven nieces and nephews, Tom, Nick and Brian Schrenk, Julie and Joe Kuhns, and Joshua and Gillian Schrenk. Friends may call at the A. Brugger & Sons Funeral Home, LLP, 845 East 38 Street, Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and may attend services Friday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Church at 10 a.m. .
