Gerald "Jerry" W. Nadolny, age 63, of Erie passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at St. Vincent Medical Center. He was born on October 5, 1946 a son of Myrtle Branton Nadolny and the late Clarence Nadolny. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Jerry worked as a car salesman at Great Lake Motors for the last 10 years and previously at Gary Miller's and Humes. He was a member of VFW Post #470. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and most anything that had to do with the outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Katherine McKnight Nadolny, his mother, three children: Michael, Jessica and Kevin Nadolny all of Erie, a granddaughter, Cassandra Lilley; one brother James Nadolny, wife Ann of Fairview and one sister, Judith Taylor of Titusville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: Kerry Garrett, husband Matt, Scott McKnight, wife Jeannine, Lisa, Jennifer and Matt Nadolny and two great nieces and one great nephew. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers-in-law, Richard Taylor and Keith McKnight. Friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brugger Home for Funerals, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Blvd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church, 2401 West 38th Street.
