Husband of Grace Kaczmarek William Erdesky, age 67, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Washington, D.C. on May 21, 1943, the son of Beatrice Erdesky of Goode, Virginia, and the late George Erdesky. Bill was a graduate of Miami Dade College in Miami, Fla. He was an electrical engineer working for RCA in the Apollo Program and then at Florida Power & Light Co. until his retirement. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during the Vietnam Era. Bill was a member of the Siebenbuerger Club, Polish Legion of American Veterans and the Wesleyville Athletic Club. Besides his mother, Bill is survived by his wife Grace Kaczmarek; one son, Robert Erdesky of Sarasota, Fla.; four sisters, Annette Wheeler, Susan Freer (David), Helen Jones (Buddy) and Kathryn Clendening; one brother, Michael Erdesky (Judy); two step-children, Michelle Cassidy and John Moles, Jr.; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Prayer Service there on Monday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James R.C.
