Delcinia Gross Stinedurf, age 80, of Erie, and formerly of 922 East 38th Street, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012, at St. Mary's Home of Erie. Born January 2, 1931, in Jackson, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Rachel Hollon Gross. Delcinia was an LPN at St. Mary's Home of Erie for 10 years and then at Pleasant Ridge Manor East for 25 years, until her retirement in 2000. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her cats and liked to spend time gardening and working in the yard. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry H. Stinedurf, in 2001; three sons, Edward Stinedurf, in 2003, James H. Stinedurf, in 1992, and Paul F. Stinedurf, in 1995; a brother, Cash Gross; and a good friend/cousin, Grace Miller. Survivors include a son, Robert Stinedurf, wife, Amy; a daughter, Linda Schrubb, husband, Russell, both of Erie; eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Elsie Spicer, Bea Cleary, and Clara Rio, husband, Robert. Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, LLP, Pine Avenue Branch, and to attend services there on Wednesday, at 11 a.m., with Rev.
