Leonard A. Drozeski, 67, of Erie, died Tuesday May 29, 2012, at the VA Medical Center following a lengthy illness. A resident of Erie all of his life he was born August 4, 1944, a son of the late Caesar and Helen Oksiencki Drozeski. Leonard was a graduate of Erie Tech and went on to serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked with the G.E. for 18 years and also worked with Custom Cabinet Making. Most recently he worked as a tool grinder with Automated Industrial Systems for 10 years. He was a member of the Siebenbuerger Club and the American Legion Carl Neff Post. He was a lover of music and enjoyed toy trains and motorcycles. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Joan Stuczynski. Survivors include one daughter, Valerie Drozeski of Erie; two sons, Tony and Andrew Drozeski, both of Erie; one brother, Joseph C. Drozeski of Erie; one sister, Rosemarie Gibson and her husband, William of Austin, Pa.; one grandson, Jacob Brumagin; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Road, on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of prayer services at 12:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. Burial with military honors will be in Calvary Cemetery.
