David E. Myers, age 84, of Erie, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Barnabas Court at Brevillier Village. He was born in Franklin, Pa. on November 18, 1927, son of the late Walter and Agnes Myers. David was employed at Smith Meters for 35 years prior to his retirement. He attended Faith Lutheran Church, enjoyed gardening and spending time with friends. David was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during WWII. David is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Doris Jacquel Myers; one daughter, Deborah Strong (Scott) of Rochester, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Timothy Strong, currently serving with the U.S. Army in Afghanistan and Jonathan Strong of Rochester, N.Y.; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Blanche Myers. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 5414 East Lake Road, conducted by Rev.
