Robert S. Nash, age 93, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Erie Presbyterian Lodge. Born in Albion, Pa., on June 23, 1919, he was a son of the late Howard and Blanche (Salsbury) Nash. During WW II, he served in the Army Air Corps. He worked in the shipping and receiving department of Durst Organ Company. Robert enjoyed stamp and coin collecting, trains and railroads, and gardening. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Marie Clark Nash, who died in 1996; a brother, Nelson "Ned" Nash, and a son-in-law, Charles Zaunegger. Survivors include three daughters, Carol Ann Zaunegger and Mary Alice Nash, both of Erie, and Janice Hemmis, husband Gregory, of Albion; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Marie Hemmis and James Nash Hemmis; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard, and may attend a service there Saturday at 11 a.m., with Rev.
