Stephen Eugene Brosnan passed away in Durham, N.C. on November 7, 2012 . Born in Erie, Pa. on February 4, 1934 to Irish immigrants, IckyB was a good soul who lived by Christian principles â€" be kind and giving. He was a Husband, Father, Brother, Friend, Marine, American and Doctor of Telephony. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Shirley Joan Brosnan and his five children â€" Connie, Tom, Jim, Mike and Dan. Brothers, sister, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and in laws will also miss his giving personality. A service honoring Steve with be held Saturday, November 10th at 3 p.m. at Rose of Sharon Baptist Church, 4109 Guess Road, Durham, N.C. Donations, in lieu of flowers, can be given to either 1) Rose of Sharon Baptist Church's Ramps for Homebound Project, 4109 Guess Road, Durham, NC 27712 or 2) Friendly City Civitan Club, 2315 Glendale Avenue, Durham, NC 27704.
