Rose M. Blue, 82 of Lake City, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012 at Edinboro Manor. She was born on October 18, 1930 to the late Valintino and Mary Leone Renze in Erie, Pa. Rose worked for 28 years on the assembly line at Rich's Pie Factory in Lake City, until she retired. Her hobbies included playing bingo, cards, gardening, planting flowers, and taking care of her children and dog "May". In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Millard Blue, whom she married on September 26, 1953. She was also preceded by her sons Robert and Raymond; three sisters, Vera, Edith and Lucy; and four brothers, Joseph, Frank, Eugene, and Albert. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Rosemary Dillinger and her husband Paul of Springboro, and Roberta "Birdie" Hulley of Erie; three sons Rickie Blue of Lake City, Ronald Blue of Erie, and Roger Blue of Lake City; her sister Antoinette Duda of Erie; two brothers, Louis Renze of Erie, and James Renze and his wife Ann Marie, also of Erie; her eight grandchildren, Russell, Timothy, Jennifer, Amanda, Lee, Dale, Kimberly, and Jacqueline; and eight great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 4-8 p.m., at the Daniel R. Edder Funeral Home, 309 East Main St., Girard. Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at the Girard Cemetery.
