A funeral service celebrating the life of Mrs. Norma Ann Clark will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at First Good Samartian AME Zion Church. Mrs. Clark was born September 18, 1938 in Washington, Pa., a daughter of Calvin Andrew and Rosalee Virginia Mae Padmore. After 13 years of courtship, she married the love of her life, Mr. Lavon Clark Sr. She was a devoted homemaker who loved to spend time with her family. She enjoyed being a mother, not only to her children, but to those she adopted and cared for, as well. Her warm and caring spirit will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. On December 3, 2012 Mrs. Norma Ann Clark received her just reward from the Lord, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children, Robert A. Clark, Robin A. Clark-Simmons and her husband Benny, Lavon Clark Jr. and his wife Kim, Michael S. Clark and his wife Danielle, Michelle Clarkâ€"Sessions and her husband Jarrett, Terry Smith, Elliott Miller, Angela Fields and her husband Ian.; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 13 adopted grandchildren; her sister, Rita Gilliam; two nephews, Anthony and Ty Gilliam; and a host of other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. The family will receive friends Monday from 4-8 p.m. at First Good Samartian AME Zion Church.
