Randolph J. Niemeyer Jr., 75, of Wattsburg, died Monday morning, December 24, 2012, at Corry Manor, following a lengthy illness. A resident of the Erie area all of his life, he was born in Erie on January 15, 1937, a son of the late Randolph J., Sr. and Evelyn Curtis Niemeyer. Randolph worked as a truck driver for many years with Niemeyer Trucking, Sand and Gravel. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Eleanor. Survivors include four daughters, Janet Plummer and her husband John of Johnstown, Pa., Brenda Vanderhoof and her husband Duane of Corry, Denise Niemeyer of Corry, and Tammy Fox and her husband Rob of North Carolina; two sons, Randy Niemeyer and his wife Lori of Waterford and Duane Niemeyer and his wife Cindy of Warren; one brother, Rodger Niemeyer and his wife Charlotte of Wattsburg; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
