Harold B. Miller, Jr., 73, of Erie, died unexpectedly Wednesday January 2, 2013 at UPMC Hamot. A resident of Erie for the past 36 years, he was born in Newark, Ohio on March 21, 1939 a son of the late Harold B. Miller, Sr. and Dorothy Loughman Miller Benjamin. Harold was the owner of Miller Sewer and Drain for 18 years before retiring in 2006. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, camping, and especially spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth May and one nephew, Marc Clark. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Sue Clemings Miller; two sons, Todd Miller and his wife Rebecca and Brad Miller and his wife Joanne, all of Erie; two daughters, Tammy Culver and her husband Peter of Erie and Penny Bretz and her husband Timothy of Butler, Pa.; one sister, Donna Clark of Newark, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Road, on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to services there on Monday morning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
