Martha Logren Burroughs, age 84, of Erie, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born August 3, 1928, daughter of the late John and Eliza Logren. Martha was a homemaker and enjoyed doing puzzles, bingo and time at the casino. Martha was the widow of George H. Burroughs, Sr., who passed away June 28, 2001 after 52 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by a son, George H. Burroughs, Jr.; two grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and one great-grandson. Martha is survived by six daughters, Violet Jean Trojanovich, Georgeanne Sherman (Lonnie) and Judy Kurtic (Jacob), all of Erie, Amy O'Connor of Tomball, Texas, Debra Krause of Ripley, N.Y., and Marilyn Carter of Laurell, Delaware; one brother, Jimmy Logren (Liz); 19 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road, on Monday from 5 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service there at 8 p.m., conducted by Rev. Susan Speakman.
