Aloysius K. "Al" Drapcho, 75, of Coudersport, Pa. died Saturday, January 5, 2013 at his home. Born on January 28, 1937 in Clarence, Pa. he was the son of John and Mary Hudak Drapcho. On February 23, 1963 in Coudersport he married Maxine H. Kolat, who died on February 15, 1994. On August 4, 2001 he married Kathy L. Edwards who survives. Mr. Drapcho was a 1955 graduate of Snow Shoe High School. He later graduated from the Pennsylvania State Police Academy in Hershey, Pa. and served as a Pennsylvania State Trooper for 32 years, retiring in 1993. He was a member of St. Eulalia Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharistic minister and lector. He was a past member of Knights of Columbus Council 1355 and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the American Association of State Troopers. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Mary M. Drapcho of Erie, Pa., a son, A. Matthew (Andrea) Drapcho of Portland, Ore., two step-daughters, Rachel E. (Christopher) Pellicano of Orchard Park, N.Y. and Ashley D. Carroll (Kyle Davido) of Erie, Pa., one grandson, Anthony Maxmilian Drapcho of Portland, Ore., two brothers, Dennis "Mickey" Drapcho of Clarence, Pa. and George Drapcho of Brook Park, Ohio, two sisters-in-law, Mildred Drapcho of Bellefonte, Pa. and Martha Drapcho of Berea, Ohio, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, and one sister, Marcella Pachipka and three brothers, Edward, John and Francis Drapcho. Friends are invited to Al's Life Celebration beginning Friday, January 11, 2013 with visitation from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Fickinger Funeral Home of Coudersport. Visitation will also be held on Saturday at St. Eulalia Catholic Church from 11:00 a.m. until 12 Noon at which time a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with the Reverend James C.
