Anna M. Napierkowski, age 92, of Erie, residing at Fairview Manor, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born in Erie on August 14, 1920, daughter of the late George and Catherine Skolnik. Anna was a member of Holy Family R.C. Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and raising her family. Anna is survived by eight children, Robert Napierkowski (Charlene), Mary Ann Simanowski, Catherine Dylewski (Anthony), Stanley Napierkowski (Kathy "Dee"), Carol Gradler (Christopher), Susan Powell (Robert), Ronald Napierkowski and Charlene "Lena" Trojanovich (Dana); one sister, Mary Bunce; 24 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Napierkowski; two sons, Richard and John Napierkowski; two brothers, John and Joseph Skolnik; one granddaughter, Arlene; and one great-granddaughter. Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2607 Buffalo Road, on Friday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Prayer Service there on Saturday at 12:15 p.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family R.C.
