Kenneth H. Thomas, age 84 of Greene Twp., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Golden Living Center, Western Reserve. He was born in Erie on June 16, 1928, son of the late Howard and Irene Curtis Thomas. Ken was a loving husband, father and friend to all who knew him. He was employed with Erie Industrial Trucks for 25 years. Ken was a faithful member of the Kearsarge Church of God, and had served as Sunday School Superintendent, on the Board of Trustees, taught Sunday School and was active with the youth ministry over the years. He also developed the bus ministry. Ken was preceded in death by two sons, Dana and Daniel Thomas; one grandson, Jayson Vogt; one brother, Wilbert Thomas; and one sister, Nellie Laubscher. Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Gracie Corcoran Thomas; one daughter, Deborah Vogt (Jay); two sons, Dewayne Thomas (Yvonne) and Dale Thomas (Kathy); five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Short of Frewsburg, N.Y.; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Road, on Wednesday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Thursday at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev.
