Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather Donald C. Hazen, age 83, of Erie, died Friday, February 15, 2013 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Elwood City, Pa. on April 20, 1929 a son of the late J. Clifford and Marie Wilkins Hazen. He was Honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Salesman for various companies. He was a member of the Elmwood Avenue Presbyterian Church, the Valley of Erie Scottish Rite, the Presque Isle Marina, the Westminster Figure Skating Club, a past President of the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club and a life-member of the Erie Maennerchor Club. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and boater. He is preceded in death by a grandchild, Keith Hazen. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth C. Weaver Hazen, a son, Jeff Hazen and his wife Kathy of Erie, two daughters, Lizabeth "Libby" Hazen and Barbara Hazen both of Erie and, two grandchildren, Kelli Proctor and her husband Scott and Amy Randolph and her husband Ryan and a great-grandchild, Anna Randolph. Friends may call on Tuesday at the Francis V. Kloecker Funeral Home, Inc., 2502 Sassafras St. Erie, PA 16502 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and are invited to the Funeral Service there on Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. with Deacon Robert Ball officiating.
