Anthony "Tony" J. Herman, age 80, formerly of Townhall Road West, died, Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the St. Mary's Home â€" East. He was born in Erie on February 29, 1932, a son of the late Anthony C. and Theresa (Dahlkemper) Herman. Tony was a life member of the St. Matthew in the Woods Church - All Saints Parish and enjoyed going to daily mass. A graduate of Academy High School, Class of 1951. He served in the Korean War in the U. S. Army as a sergeant. He was employed at the Lord Corporation for 40 years retiring in 1991; working in many areas and finishing his career there in the Proto-type department and was a member of the Lord's Quarter Century Club. He enjoyed his pet dog, old cars, rides in the county, hunting, fishing, making things and NASCAR. He is survived by his aunt, Josephine Herman and many cousins. Friends may call at the Francis V.
