Dean A. Cady, age 53, of North East, died Friday, February 22, 2013 at St. Vincent Health Center. He was born April 11, 1959, in Erie, to the late Walter John and Fern Hanson Cady Spencer. Dean lived all his life in Harborcreek and the North East Area and attended Harbor Creek High School and graduated from North East High School. After high school, he served with the U. S. Marine Corp and then attended The Hiram G. Andrews Center, in Johnstown, where he received a diploma in Building Repairer Helper. Dean loved fishing. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carole L. Clark Cady; stepfather, John Spencer and a brother, Bruce Cady. Dean is survived by a daughter, Tiffany Cady; sister, Rebecca Ann Sank of North East; brothers, Robin Warfield of Harborcreek and Dennis Cady and his wife Mary Jane of North East, also several nieces and nephews, and a special niece, Christina Sank. Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake St., North East, on Monday, from 3 p.m. until the time of funeral services at 5 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Mary Stewart. Private interment will be in Grahamville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family, in care of the funeral.
