Glenna Dennison Hetrick, age 86, formerly of Erie, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she resided near her daughter. Born in Reynoldsville, Pa., on February 7, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Glenn R. and Margaret A. (Shughrou) Dennison. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Penn State University in 1950, and was a teacher in Punxsutawney, Pa. Glenna loved to read. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, dancing, gardening and good jokes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald P. Dennison. Survivors include her husband, Robert D. Hetrick, whom she married on June 28, 1952; two daughters, Ann L. Hetrick, husband Donald Kenefick, of Lively, Va., and Barbara L. Norman, husband Kenneth, of Ann Arbor, Mich.; two sons, Douglas S. Hetrick, wife Marianne, of Walnutport, Pa., and Daniel O. Hetrick, of Pearl City, Hawaii; and seven grandchildren. Friends may call Friday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard, and may attend a prayer service there Saturday at 12:30 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint George Church at 1 o'clock.
