Edward B. "Bud" MacQuarrie, 71 a resident of the PA Soldiers & Sailors Home went to be with the Lord, Saturday March 23, 2013, following a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was born in Titusville, Pa. January 24, 1942 son of the late Edward H. and Evelyn Watson MacQuarrie. He was a Harborcreek graduate class of 1960. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. Edward was a retired Teamsters International Truck Driver. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his children Gregory MacQuarrie of Erie, Brian MacQuarrie and wife Tiffany of Enon Valley, Pa., Jason MacQuarrie and wife Nicole of Waterford, Stephanie Shattuck and husband Alan of Erie, and Justin MacQuarrie and wife Amber of Georgetown Ohio, his grandchildren, Shelby, Becca, Jessica, Mikayla, Noah, Chloe. Avery, and Anna, his sister Vonda Fisher of Elyria, Ohio, and his brother Terry MacQuarrie of Erie. Friends may call at the Carl A. Slomski & Son Funeral Home Inc. 2101 Ash St. Tuesday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday at the PA Soldiers & Sailors Home Chapel 560 East 3rd St. from 10 a.m. until the time of services there at 11a.m. Burial will be in Soldiers & Sailors Home Cemetery with full military honors.
