Kind and selfless husband and father. Anthony F. Pisano age 65 of Erie, passed away on Friday March 29, 2013, at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Erie on December 31, 1947 a son of the late Graziano and Maria Raffaela Pisano. Anthony graduated from Gannon University and went on to earn his master's degree. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was an auditor and accountant and worked locally for the past 30 years. Anthony was a parishioner at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, whose greatest joys in life were golfing with his brothers, spending time with his family and celebrating his Italian heritage. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Judith Burbules Pisano, their three sons; Phillip Anthony Pisano of Erie, Paul Anthony Pisano of Pittsburgh and James Anthony Pisano of Erie, his siblings; Joseph Pisano, Mario (Helen) Pisano, Victor Pisano, Lucy (Ralph) Filipkowski, Bruno Pisano and William(Betty) Pisano. Anthony is further survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc. 5000 Wattsburg Rd. Erie, PA 16504 on Monday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m., and are invited to a prayer service there on Tuesday afternoon at 12:45 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Mount of Olives Cemetery.
