Paul Lombardozzi, age 52, of Charlotte, N.C. passed away April 19, 2013 following an extended illness. He was born in Erie, Pa. on April 20, 1960 son of Benedict and Laura (DiNicola) Lombardozzi. Paul was a loving and devoted husband and father. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Gloria (Iesue) Lombardozzi, son, Alexander Lombardozzi, and daughter, Sophia Lombardozzi. He is also survived by his parents Benedict and Laura Lombardozzi, sisters Gina Grimm (Greg) and Mariana Skonieczka (Rick), as well as several nieces, nephews and close friends. He graduated from Gannon University with a mechanical engineering degree. He worked for Ingersoll-Rand Company for 25 years, which gave him the opportunity to travel extensively. In addition to travel, Paul also enjoyed scuba diving, boating, fishing, and restoring old cars. A mass in his honor will be celebrated Friday, May 10th at 10 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1626 West 26th Street, Erie, reception following.
