Joann N. Silman Seppi, 82 of East Springfield, died Sunday June 23, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 30, 1931 in Ohio, a daughter of the late Chester and Ernestine Krauter English. Joann worked at Marx Toy's in Girard for many years, until the company closed. She later worked at EMSCO and the Sugar Bowl in Springfield Twp. She was a social member of the Springfield VFW Post#4965 and enjoyed working puzzles, crossword puzzles and knitting and crocheting gifts for her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter E. Silman Sr. in 1967 also her second husband William Seppi in 2001; a daughter, Penny Henderson on 2003; a son, Roger Silman in 2012; three brothers, Eugene Montgomery, Carl English and Paul English; and a granddaughter, Pamela Silman in infancy. She will be greatly missed by her family, which includes her two sons, Walter E. Silman Jr. and his wife Sheila of Fairview, Rodney D. Silman and his wife Christine of East Springfield; two sisters, Virginia McColley of Erie, Dorothy Aldrich of Conneaut, Ohio; nineteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Edder Funeral Home, Inc., 309 Main St. East, Girard. Services will be held there on Thursday at 10 a.m. with Joann's grandson, James E.
