Shawn P. Wilson, age 45, died unexpectedly at his residence Friday, July 12, 2013. Born September 8, 1967, in Erie he was the son of the late Richard and Marsha DeHaven Wilson.
Shawn was a Sergeant at the Erie County Prison for the last 22 years. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and loved the Pittsburgh Steelers. However, his son Brandon was the love of his life with whom he enjoyed playing and fishing.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Theodore E. Wilson in 2005.
Survivors include his twin brother and best friend, John Wilson (Kristie); his brothers Jimmy (Heather), Dustin, Tim, Ricky and Joey Wilson; a sister, Frankie McLaurin (Robert); many cousins, nieces and nephews that he loved very much also survive.
Friends are invited to call at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pine Avenue Branch, 845 East 38th Street on Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend services there on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev.
