Jacqueline Helmbreck Lascek, 90, of Conneautville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Rolling Fields Eldercare Community.

She was born on July 17, 1923 to the late Arthur L. Helmbreck and Gladys (Seavy) Helmbreck. She married John M. Lascek on Valentine's Day in 1946, he preceded her in death on December 27, 2003.

She was a devout Christian who was an active member of the United Church of Beaver Center. She enjoyed sharing inspirational readings with her church during Sunday services.

Jacqueline retired after 20 years from Astatic Co. in Conneaut, Ohio. For many years she was a member and president of the Springboro Garden Club. She was known for her pies, deviled eggs and Jell-O desserts. In her free time, she enjoyed attending church functions and gardening. She was extremely fond of her cats, especially Muffy who survives.

She is survived by her twin brother Arthur Jack Helmbreck and his wife Dorothy, her brother Austin L. Helmbreck and his wife Josephine; nieces-Judy A. Bortnick and Lisa Helmbreck; nephew John Helmbreck; several great nieces and nephews; many great-great nieces and nephews; several close friends and neighbors.

Donations can be made in her memory to the United Church of Beaver Center 3434 Beaver St. Springboro, PA 16435 or the Crawford County Humane Society 11012 Kennedy Hill Rd, Meadville, PA 16335.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. with a funeral ceremony immediately following at White-Cool Funeral Home, Gina M. McCauley Funeral Director, 1405 Main Street Conneautville. Rev. Gerald Devine of the United Church of Beaver Center will be officiating.
