William "Bud" Kenny, age 84, of Erie, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013. He was born on April 18, 1929, in Ashtabula, Ohio, son of the late Mary and Justin Kenny.

Bud lived, was educated, and worked his entire life in Erie. He earned his Tool and Die Apprentice at Continental Rubber, then worked at Perry Plastics. He later retired from Ridg-u-Rak in North East as a supervisor in 1993.

Bud enjoyed many activities during his life, including: he built his family home, was an avid hunter, an awarded wood carver and an officer of the Wood Carver Club of Erie. He was a member of the Siebenbuerger, Huzar and Moose Clubs of Erie.

Bud is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Lou Kenny. They settled in Erie and raised their family. He will be sadly missed by his children, William "Bill"Kenny (Suzanne) of Mercer Island, Wash., Tom Kenny of Rochester, N.Y., and Colleen Kenny-More of North Plainfield, N.J.; his grandchildren, Michael Kenny More (Stacey) of New Bern, N.C., Mary "Amanda" More of N. Plainfield, N.J., Patrick Kenny and Shawn Kenny of Anacortes/Seattle, Wash.; his great-grandchildren, Jordan and Abigale "Abby" More of New Bern, N.C.; one brother, Donald Kenny (Maxine) of Riverside, Calif.; sister-in-law, Jane Kenny of Rochester, N.Y.; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Tom Kenny.

Friends will be received at the Dusckas Funeral Home, Inc., East, 2067 Buffalo Road on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of the memorial service there at 6 p.m. conducted by Pastor Roy Washill, St. John's Lutheran Church.
