Bill Allen, age 74, of Millcreek Twp., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 after a brief illness at Fairview Manor. He was born in Troy, N.Y. on March 19, 1939, the son of the late Leo E. and Gertrude DeLorme Allen.

He served in the U.S. Navy and was very supportive of the Veteran's Association. Bill was employed at Luster-On Products, was owner of PAC Equipment, and owned the Earlville Station Restaurant in Ohio. He was a respected and devoted member of AA for thirty-nine years where hundreds of people in his AA family showed their respect and support towards him.

Bill is survived by five children: Shawn of Calif., Gary (Valerie) of Lake City, Tom (fiancé, Kimberly) of Calif., Bill (Lisa) of Ind., Michelle Bricker (Josh) of Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister, Susan A. Parrow; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Bob Allen.

Private services were conducted by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. The family would like to thank the staff at Fairview Manor for their exceptional care for their Dad.
