Paige and family,I'm so sorry for your loss and want to express my heartfelt condolences.Pat and I shared a love of sports, music and books. We played baseball together at North(he was better!) and enjoyed many fun times during our college years. Spent a lot of time listening to music with him on Lingert and talking with his mom and dad. My kids all went to the Pat McGaheran school and I was always proud to tell them that I knew him and was friends with his son. My sympathies.

Dear Paige, Jordan, Sarah and Brendan,
I and Joseph and Robert are sad to hear of Pat's passing. He was a very good and loving husband and father. He will be missed by all who got the chance to know him.
May you all find solace in God's hands as is what I think Pat would want. He is now enjoying his reward in Heaven and I hope he meets up with Peg there and watch down over all of us!
Blessings...Always,

Paige, working with Pat all those many years ago I never saw him as a family man. Then you came into his life. You changed him for the better and made him a better man. It was a Honor to watch you both take those wedding vows. Years have gone by and, although we haven't seen you both, you and Pat have always had a special place in our hearts. Paige, you and the kids are and always will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I spent much of my formative years sleeping in the McGaheran's basement, raiding their candy supply, and avoiding Buddy the dog's brave attacks. I will always remember the truck-rides to Bridgewater with Brendan and Pat to take batting practice. On the way home we'd stop in Clinton to visit Pat's parents and get a bite. The rest of our Sunday would be spent rotating on the ping-pong table with Shawn, Scott, Landon, and a rotating cast of other friends, avoiding school work at all costs. Whether it was dicussing The Grateful Dead, Hunter Thompson, baseball, or Pat's decision to grow a moustache, Pat remains one of the most interesting/ influential people I've come across in life. Thank you for treating me like family.

My condolences to the McGaheran family. I knew Pat from Little League in High Bridge. He lived across the street from my Uncle Bill and Aunt Adele's (Langston) house in Clinton. We went to NHRHS and hung out together after graduation a number of times. I respected his Mom and Dad and Pat was a product of their fine parenting. Smart guy, old friend, RIP.
